China's Top 100 Information Technology (IT) Companies Soar 111% Annually

IFC (CHINA)--On 2 July 2007, Interfax China reports IT companies that appeared on the Chinese Ministry of Information Industry's (MIIs) recent top 100 IT companies list generated RMB 8.31 billion (USD1.09 billion) in gross profit during the first five months of this year, soaring 111% year-on-year. The MII said that profits recorded by two major Chinese IT companies, Lenovo and BOE, contributed to the large rise in profits. Additionally, Haier Group, Huawei Technologies, BOE Technology Group, Midea Group China, TCL Corp, Hisense Group, Founder Group, Panda Electronics Group and SVA Group made up the top 10 companies on the list.
