Texas Instrument (TI) Wireless Infrastructure Capture Bulk Of China's Time Division-Synchronous Code Division Multiple Access (TD-SCDMA) Trials

TI (DALLAS/ BEIJING)--On 9 July 2007, TI announced they will work with ZTE and Datang Mobile with the majority of China's TD-SCDMA trials. Deployment of TI's wireless infrastructure optimized digital signal processors (DSP) in Node B (base) station equipment (Signals Chain Solution photo shows the process) in trials that began on 10 April 2007 in 10 China cities for upgrading to 3G technology for the 2008 Beijing Olympics. A total of 83% of the base stations go to ZTE and Datang and deployments will occur in Shanghai, Tianjin, Shenyang, Qinhuangdao, Guangzhou, Shenzhen and Xiamen.
