Advance Data Technology (ADT) Is Chosen As Certification Test Lab For Worldwide Interoperability For Microwave Access (WiMAX)

IHS (ASIA)--On 13 July 2007, Information Handling Services (IHS) via WiMAX Forum reports ADT likely will launch the first Asian certification test lab of both fixed and mobile WiMAX certification services in October 2007. The level of service is likely to be comparable to Spain's AT4 wireless, which is the only facility in the world capable of providing both fixed and mobile WiMAX Forum certification. ADT received the first WiMAX regulatory certificate in 2005 and later got selected as the M-Taiwan Test Lab in 2006 to provide certification testing for manufacturers to apply for the M-Taiwan Project. ADT is one of Taiwan's leading EMC, RF, Safety, Telecom and Wi-Fi laboratories by providing clients with compliance testing and certification services. Electronic manufacturers and trading companies, both in Taiwan and overseas, have been able to quickly obtain global certification from various approval agencies in ADT.
Note: The certification test lab likely will aid in speeding certification processes in time for the Beijing Olympics.
