Environmental Protection Forces Some Enterprises To Cease Production During 2008 Olympics

TDCT (BEIJING)--Business Alert through tdctrade.com reports strict control measures set by Beijing government during the 2008 Olympics forces some enterprises to adjust their production schedule and processes while others may likely have to stop or limit their production. A scientific method for which type of enterprise to cut down or cease production will be used as well as for assisting in traffic control and reducing air pollution. Beijing plans to monitor the air quality during the Games to relieve athletes worries by placing mobile air quality monitoring stations and all monitoring results made public. Another feature for generating ozone is an oil-gas recycling program, scheduled for completion in 2008, which will require 1,000 gas stations in Beijing to install oil-gas recycling facilities.
