US Bans Some Cell Phones

Reuters (UK)--On 7 June 2007, A US trade agency banned imports of some cell phone models containing Qualcomm chips because of patent violations. Qualcomm and Verizon Wireless, the second biggest US mobile service provider, said they planned to ask the Bush administration to invalidate the order.
