China Mobile Leads Losses-But Still Up While Hong Kong Shares Drop
AP-NE (CHINA-HONG KONG)--On 28 June 2007, Associated Press via News Edge reports Hong Kong shares dropped this week for the third straight session, dragged by profit-taking in China-related companies after recent strong gains. The blue chip Hang Seng Index fell 98.01 points. The Hang Seng Index gained 982 points in just four days last week. China Mobile, the second largest constituent of the benchmark index, fell 1.6% to HK$83.45 ($10.67) on profit-taking. China Mobile shares are up 14.3% this month even including this week’s loss.
