Improved Airport Efficiency Likely In Time For 2008 Olympic Games

(REUTERS) BEIJING -- On Monday, 23 July 2007, Reuters reported Air China Ltd., the official airline partner for the 2008 Beijing Olympics, announced that they are working to cut delays and improve employees' English language skills in time for next year's Olympic Games. Air China says some of the delays are caused by the weather and are unavoidable -- thunderstorms which strike Beijing during the summer frequently lead to the airport closing -- but acknowledge they could keep passengers better informed. Due to the great amount of people who will be flying in and out of Beijing, it is quite important to have a system that will run smoothly throughout the Olympic Games.
